San Bushmen Bows and Arrows | Art of Africa | Cape Town
They were founded in 1990 by Gezz Robison, specialising in the arts of southern Africa. They are a leading art rental company, promoting some of South Africa’s top artists.

Their passion for genuine African art lead them to the works of the Bushmen and they specialise and promote their art..
Bows are from one to three feet long and about an inch thick tapering towards both ends. They are made from tough elastic wood. Sometimes bows are smeared with grease to prevent it from cracking or splitting.
The arrows are carried in quivers that are normally made of the root of an acacia or quiver tree.
Every effort is taken to provide customers with a similar bow and arrow that appears on their website.

Hello,
When I was last in ZA and Namibia I saw quite a few San bushmen bows complete with quiver and carrying gear. I’m on holiday in Boland over Christmas and would like to purchase one of these sets to bring back to Australia.
Can you please advise me of prices and the relative ability to export these?
Kind regards, Dave Johnson
